Hi everyone,

I wanted to start a blog for students who will be attending SMC in August 2011. So we can get to know each other.
So let me start off first.
My name is Marwa, I live in Rotterdam/Holland.
I am 18 years old.
And I am very excited to go to Santa Monica.
Right now I am waiting for the response of SMC, if I'm accepted or not, and for the response of DUO (fellow Dutch students probably know what that is).

So please, reply, write and maybe we'll get to know one another.

How's it hanging people 
My name is Sjors Versteeg (18), from the Netherlands. I also are attending to study a major (Business Administration and management) at Santa Monica College starting August 2011. I'm currently working on getting my f-1 visum and already have received acceptation from SMC. The future is looking pretty bright for me . Here's some more personal information: I just finished my Higher General Secondary Education. My favorite things to do are going out, watching movies, snowboarding in winters, just relax with some friends. My whole life I just want to create awesome memories, ofcourse that won't happen all the time but I'm doing me best. So that is why I also do a little bit photography and filming. I also work as a photographer at a club and I work at a grocery store. That is as far I'm going personal for now.

I don't know what is ahead of me and waiting for me in Santa Monica, but I just know it's going to be alright. I'm still looking for accommodation and I would love to live in a house with more people, so I won't be that alone. Im also from the netherlands and looking in too going to smc as well.
I was wondering how it all turned out for you guys? How did everything go with the DUO?
