Hello there! As many students from the KILROY offices in the Nordic countries and the Netherlands will start studying at Griffith University later this year, we thought it would be a good idea to open this forum. It provides an excellent opportunity to meet other students going to the same university and to exchange ideas, tips and other useful information.

Please write in English so that students from other countries can read what you are saying. If you prefer to get in touch with students from your own country only, please indicate so in your posts.

So just register at this forum, tell us something about yourself and what you will study at Griffith and let the fun begin!

Hi There,

How are you?
Well, let me introduce myself; I'm Anne Baeten and at the moment I'm studying at Griffith University in the Gold Coast. I'm doing my Master study here, Master of Marketing to be precise. I really have to say that I'm enjoying my time here. Sometimes the master is pretty tough; due to assessments that consumes a lot of work. But besides that, I'm having a lot of fun by making trips, surfing (of course) and well you can say I’m just making the most of my time here in the Gold Coast.
What’s maybe also good to know, I'm living at the Village. So that is the exactly on campus. I have to say it really is a good start if you come all the way from the Netherlands. But you might consider moving to Surfers eventually, there is just more going on.
Let me just say that for everybody that is considering going, please do! You will have a blast, for sure!

Cheers!
Anne

Hi,
My Name is Frank and I was accepted to Griffith University. I'm going to study business, (marketing to be precise) at Nathan Campus. I'm really excited. Take it I've alreaddy been an exchange student in the US. (high school). and I'm hoping for this to be a GREAT advanture just like the other one.
I'm gonna travel and live with a friend of mine. We are looking for an apartment near QUT and Griffith, because my friend is studying Journalism at qut.
I know griffith is about 20 mins away from QUT. But if anyone knows more about apartments in Brisbane I would be over happy to hear from you? is it cheaper to live closer to QUT or maybe nathan campus as it's further away from centrum? We would like to have an apartment in the upper class. It has to have 2 bed rooms. does anyone know the prices in Brisbane? like what would an regular apartment cost and what would one with a pool cost?
Sincerly, Frank from Norway  :)

Hey everybody.
I'm Thea. I'm 23 years old and I'm going to Griffith this summer, in 55 days to be precise. I'm going to stay at Griffith University Village, and study nursing. Anyone else? I'm in my 4th semester now here in Norway, and will do my 5th semester at Griffith. Which I think (and hope) will be great.

I`ve never been in Australia before, but it seems amazing! I`m really exited, even that I have`nt got a confirm jet! I am going to study Interior Design. I really hope I get accepted!
